  • Yes — each SimpliFire Surround can be installed in either a 3-sided or 4-sided configuration. The surround comes as a 4-sided unit with a removable bottom piece, which you simply remove for a 3-sided install when the fireplace sits on the floor rather than being elevated above the ground.

  • The SimpliFire Electric Fireplace Insert provides supplemental heat for areas up to 400 square feet, with a thermostatically controlled heater adjustable between 60°F and 82°F on low and high settings. The fireplace can also be enjoyed year-round with the heater turned off, so the flame effects run independently of the heat function.

  • The SimpliFire Surround carries a 2-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship, backed by Hearth & Home Technologies (HHT). Warranty coverage begins on the date of original purchase, and in the case of new home construction it begins on the date of first occupancy or six months after sale by an authorized dealer, whichever comes first.
