  • The Napoleon Astound Built-In is available in four widths: 50", 62", 74", and 96" (model numbers NEFB50AB, NEFB62AB, NEFB74AB, and NEFB96AB). All sizes deliver the same core features but vary by width and viewing area. The FlexMount version is available in 50", 62", and 74" sizes.

  • The Astound supports 5,000 BTUs on a standard 120V/1,500W outlet, or up to 10,000 BTUs when hard-wired to a 240V/3,000W circuit for maximum heat output. It also includes ECO mode for lower energy consumption and BOOST mode for maximum blower speed and heat. At full power, it can heat approximately 500 square feet.

  • Yes — the Astound integrates fully with the Napoleon Home App via Wi-Fi, allowing you to adjust flames, heat settings, and schedules from your smartphone or tablet. It also supports voice control through both Google Home and Amazon Alexa. Additionally, it comes with an included remote control, and an optional wall-mounted remote is available.

  • The Built-In version requires a recessed install with a framing depth of 13 inches, and includes both a frameless finishing flange and an adjustable trim kit for either a sleek modern or traditional framed look. The FlexMount version offers even more flexibility, supporting wall-mounted, partially recessed, or fully recessed installation, as well as 1-sided, 2-sided, or 3-sided viewing configurations. No venting or gas connection is required for either version.

  • Yes — the Astound comes with Beach Fire Logs and a Woodland media kit included, and features a unique flip-down glass panel for easy access to swap out media. Optional kits such as Birch Logs, Mineral Rock, Glass Beads, and Black Crystals can be purchased separately. The ember bed and top light offer 13 standard color options with 3 brightness levels, and the Napoleon Home App lets you create virtually any custom color combination.
