It is available in two sizes to match each fireplace: the 30-inch version (model SF-EF30-BK, measuring 34-5/16″W × 28-3/16″H) and the 36-inch version (model SF-EF36-BK, measuring 40-1/4″W × 32-5/8″H). You must select the size that corresponds to your specific fireplace model.

  • Yes, the SimpliFire Built-In Electric Fireplace can be installed into an existing factory-built fireplace, and the Black Front helps cover the surrounding drywall or finishing material for a seamless look. Before installing into an existing fireplace, you should seal all chimney drafts with non-fibrous insulation, close or seal the flue and damper, and ensure a power connection is accessible. The unit can also be framed into new wall construction.

  • The SimpliFire Built-In Electric Fireplace produces 4,800 BTUs when wired at 120V and up to 10,000 BTUs when hardwired at 240V, making it suitable for zone heating spaces up to approximately 400 square feet. However, the appliance is certified only as supplemental room heat or a decorative appliance and should not be factored as a primary heat source in residential heating calculations. The unit can also be operated with the flame on and the heater completely off for year-round ambiance.

  • The SimpliFire Built-In Electric Fireplace comes with a 2-year warranty, which covers defects in materials and workmanship from the date of original purchase when bought through an authorized SimpliFire dealer. If a defect is found during the warranty period, Hearth & Home Technologies (HHT) will, at its discretion, repair or replace the unit, or refund the verified purchase price. The warranty coverage transfers to a new owner only if ownership changes within one year of the original purchase date.
