It cannot be installed in a type-B vent (natural vent) gas fireplace, direct vent gas fireplace, or any gas or wood-burning stove. For indoor use, sufficient combustion and ventilation air must be provided.

  • The Real Fyre Evening Fyre Charred is available in four sizes: 16", 18", 24", and 30" long. When sizing, you should measure the inside of your fireplace opening — not your old logs — as the interior dimension is the key to choosing the correct fit. You should select the log set size based on the size of the burner you choose.

  • The set provides up to 30,000 BTUs for the smaller 16" and 18" models, and up to 38,000 BTUs for the larger 24" and 30" models. Reviewers note it delivers ample heat — one customer reported it comfortably heats a 400 sq ft family room with a 12-foot ceiling. It is best suited as a zone or supplemental heater rather than a whole-house heating solution.

  • The set offers four ignition/control options: a manual valve, a basic on/off remote, a variable flame remote with standing pilot, or a variable flame electronic ignition remote control. The electronic remote does include a thermostat, allowing you to set and maintain a target room temperature. High and low heat settings are available with the variable flame remote control options.

  • The ceramic refractory gas logs are warranted for as long as you own them (lifetime warranty). The vent-free burner component parts — excluding valves, ODS pilots, and controls — are warranted for 10 years. All valves, pilots, and controls are covered by a 1-year limited warranty (excluding batteries).
