The minimum firebox dimensions required are 28 inches (front width) x 16 inches (depth) x 17 inches (height). For indoor installation, the maximum BTU allowed is calculated using the formula: Length x Width x Height x 20 (see the owner's manual).

  • Fire glass is NOT included with the burner and must be purchased separately — the burner will not function without it. For the standard 24-inch G21 model, approximately 10 lbs. of fire glass or Fyre Gems is required; the See-Through version requires 12½ lbs. You can choose from regular fire glass, reflective fire glass, or fire gems in a wide range of colors.

  • Yes, the G21 24-inch set is available in both Natural Gas and Liquid Propane configurations, and it is rated for both indoor and outdoor use. The burner is ANSI certified for both fuel types and includes an Oxygen Depletion System (ODS) pilot that automatically shuts off the burner if indoor oxygen levels drop to an unsafe level. Always check local codes before installing a vent-free appliance indoors.

  • The Real Fyre vent-free burner components (excluding valves, ODS pilots, and controls) are covered by a 10-year limited warranty. The fire glass, gems, and nuggets carry a 5-year warranty, while valves, pilots, and controls are covered by a 1-year limited warranty. Note that the warranty does not cover on-site labor, installation costs, or parts removal expenses.

  • The set includes the G21 Vent-Free Gas Burner, a Polished Reflector Panel, a Connector Kit, a Remote Control Kit, a Metal Heat Shield, a Damper Clamp, and a User's Manual.
