If you need a 48-inch Napoleon gas fireplace, you would need to consider a different Napoleon line such as the Boulevard or Echelon II Series, which do offer 48-inch configurations.

  • The Elevation X 42-inch model delivers up to 45,000 BTUs and includes a heat-circulating blower to help maximize the heated area. The 36-inch model outputs 37,000 BTUs, also with a blower included. Actual heating coverage will vary based on your home's insulation, floor plan layout, and geographic location.

  • The Elevation X Series uses a direct vent system, which draws fresh outdoor air for combustion and safely exhausts combustion gases outside through a concentric double-wall pipe. It can be vented both vertically or horizontally, offering installation flexibility for new construction and remodeling projects. The venting requires a chimney with a 5-inch inner diameter, and approved direct vent systems include Dura-Vent, Selkirk Direct Temp, American Metal Amerivent, and Metal-Fab.
