  • The Orion Slim delivers up to 5,000 BTUs of supplemental heat via a high-efficiency PTC ceramic heater, making it suitable for zone heating but not intended as a primary heat source. The built-in thermostat can be set between 68°F and 88°F, and the flames can be enjoyed completely independently of the heater, making it a flexible year-round feature.

  • The Orion Slim is available in four sizes: 52", 60", 76", and 100", allowing it to fit a wide range of spaces from a standard living room wall to large open-concept rooms and commercial environments. All four sizes share the same slim 6-5/16" depth profile and are compatible with 2x6 wall recessed or surface wall-mount installation.

  • Yes — the Orion Slim includes full smart home integration, supporting both Amazon Alexa and Google Home for hands-free voice control. It can also be controlled via the Modern Flames Wi-Fi app (available on iOS and Android), the included multi-function remote, or built-in touch controls directly on the unit. The app additionally allows you to set weekly automated schedules for both the flames and heater.

  • Modern Flames offers a 5-year limited warranty from the date of purchase when the product is registered with the manufacturer within 30 days; if not registered, coverage drops to 2 years. The integrated virtual screen is covered separately for 1 year from purchase. Labor for service or repair is covered within the first year (up to $100 credit for one service call), and the warranty is voided if the unit is not installed or maintained according to Modern Flames guidelines.
