  • The Orion Multi 52-inch offers four viewing configurations — front view, left corner, right corner, or bay (3-sided) — and three mounting methods: fully built-in (recessed into a 9-inch deep wall), partially recessed into a standard 2x4 wall, or wall-mounted just 1½ inches from the wall surface. No venting is required; it only needs to be hardwired or plugged in. Simply remove the included side panels to switch between single-sided and multi-sided configurations.

  • The Orion Multi 52-inch features a high-efficiency PTC ceramic heater that can produce either 5,000 or 10,000 BTUs depending on how it is wired — the higher 10,000 BTU output requires hardwiring. This output is sufficient for supplemental heating of rooms ranging from approximately 400 to 800 square feet. The heater can also be turned off entirely so you can enjoy the flame display year-round without generating heat.

  • The Orion Multi 52-inch supports multiple control methods: built-in touch controls on the unit, an included full-function handheld remote, and Wi-Fi control via the Modern Flames mobile app available on iOS and Android. It is also compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home for voice-activated control, and the app allows you to set a weekly automated schedule for the heater and flames to run on their own.

  • If you register the product with Modern Flames within 30 days of purchase, you receive a 5-year limited warranty; without registration, coverage drops to 2 years. The warranty is only valid when the fireplace is purchased from an authorized Modern Flames dealer. Modern Flames also includes a 1-year labor credit of up to $100 for one service call within that first year.
