Because it is a vent-free design, the burner burns at maximum efficiency — eliminating the need for a chimney — so all of the heat goes directly back into your home. This makes it a genuinely functional heat source, not just a decorative feature.

  • The Weathered Oak vent-free logs are compatible exclusively with the Grand Canyon Vulcan Vent-Free Burner System and cannot be paired with any other burner. When purchased as a logs-only set, the burner is sold separately and must be ordered in addition; however, complete kits are available that include the vent-free burner, lava rocks, platinum embers, glowing embers, a damper clamp, a remote control, and a user's manual. Only Grand Canyon Gas Logs controls, parts, and accessories certified for this burner system should be used for safe operation.

  • Buyers can choose from three control options: an On/Off Remote, a Variable Flame with Standing Pilot, or a Variable Flame with Electronic Ignition Remote Control. The variable flame options allow for high and low heat settings for added comfort. The valve, pilot, and ignition system come factory-mounted, so no assembly is required on those components.

  • Logs installed indoors carry a lifetime warranty, and the burner also carries a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Valves and remote controls are covered by a 2-year warranty, while the Oxygen Depletion System (ODS) carries a 1-year warranty. Before any warranty claim is processed, Grand Canyon's Technical Service Department must be contacted to diagnose and authorize any faulty or defective part.
