  • Yes, the Navigator is designed to be left outdoors in all weather conditions thanks to its outer iron oxide finish, which is completely maintenance-free. Over time, the patina will naturally darken and mature to a richer, permanent color. The only care tip is to avoid tarping it, as a tarp can blacken the patina and stop the oxidation process.

  • The Navigator is available with either a Match Lit ignition system or an All-Weather Electronic Ignition System (AWEIS). The AWEIS requires a 24V AC transformer, which means electrical wiring is needed — however, a special-order battery-operated electronic ignition system is available for outdoor spaces that cannot run electrical wires. The Match Lit option is the simpler choice if you want to avoid any wiring entirely.

  • All fire pit components are warranted for 10 years from the date of purchase by the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship, with proof of purchase required. The HPC Match Lit burner also includes its own separate lifetime warranty. Note that the warranty does not cover normal weathering, commercial use, or damage from misuse or neglect.
