The gas kit comes complete with a flex line, Dante valve, burner plate, and lava rock. The HPC stainless steel Penta burner is CSA-approved and delivers a uniform, full campfire effect.

  • Yes, the Navigator is available in both natural gas and liquid propane configurations, so you can choose whichever fuel source is most convenient for your outdoor setup. However, it is important to note that when using liquid propane, the LP tank will NOT fit inside the fire pit unit and must be stored externally. Plan for an external tank placement when choosing the propane version.

  • The Navigator Gas Fire Pit offers two ignition choices: a Match Lit system and an All-Weather Electronic Ignition System (AWEIS). The Match Lit option requires no electrical wiring and is lit easily with a lighter, making it ideal for spaces where running electrical wires is not practical. The AWEIS uses a simple on/off switch, includes a wind-activated re-lighting feature, and automatically shuts off gas in the event of a leak — but does require a 24VAC transformer and electrical connection. A special-order battery-operated electronic ignition is also available for spaces that cannot run electrical wires.

  • All components of the Fire Pit Art Navigator are warranted for a period of 10 years after the date of purchase by the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The HPC Match Lit burner also carries its own lifetime warranty for added peace of mind. Proof of purchase (sales receipt) is required for any warranty service, and any returns must be sent via prepaid freight in the original retail packaging.

  • Yes — the Navigator is built with heavy-duty 1/4-inch thick mild carbon steel and an outer Iron Oxide finish, which makes it essentially maintenance-free and safe to leave outdoors all year long. The iron oxide patina will naturally darken over time into a richer, more attractive finish without any treatment needed. The interior bowl features a high-temperature-resistant coating and a 1.5-inch rain drain to prevent water accumulation, and the fire pit should be covered (not tarped) when not in use to avoid warranty issues.
