It is designed for a zero-clearance, in-wall installation and can be installed virtually anywhere as long as the room has appropriate ventilation. You do not need to worry about combustible surfaces, which makes for easier and more affordable installation.

  • The Empire Boulevard 36-Inch model produces up to 28,000 BTUs of heat output, making it well-suited for efficient zone heating in medium-sized rooms. If you need more heating capacity, the 48-Inch model steps up to 32,000 BTUs. Both models are available in Natural Gas and Propane versions.

  • Yes — if you choose the Intermittent Pilot Ignition (IP) system, the fireplace can operate completely on battery backup in the event of a power outage. Alternatively, the Millivolt ignition system uses a standing pilot that requires no external power at all, ensuring you can heat your space regardless of power availability.

  • The Boulevard 36 features a matte black interior as a standard backdrop, but it can be fully customized with optional porcelain liners (black or white), a stainless steel liner, crushed fire glass, a 22-piece driftwood log and stone set, and an optional LED accent lighting kit. Decorative media such as crushed glass can be used with or without a liner, and optional trim kits and beveled decorative fronts are also available to finish the look.

  • All Empire vent-free products, including the Boulevard 36-Inch, carry a five-year limited warranty along with a five-year limited labor warranty. Remote controls and lighting systems are covered under a separate one-year limited warranty. The unit is also CSA certified and mobile home approved for added peace of mind.
