Frequently Asked Questions

  • The ZECL-31-3228-STL fireplace is available in two steel surround styles — arched (STL-ARCH) or square (STL-SQR) — and the surround is included as part of the complete unit purchase. Both surrounds are constructed from heavy-gauge steel for a rich, durable look. If purchasing the firebox alone, the arched or square surround can also be purchased separately as an accessory for approximately $119.

  • The ZECL-31-3228-STL measures approximately 32 3/8" wide x 27 3/4" high x 10 1/8" deep. The unit is designed for walls that are 11–16 inches deep, and features an extra-deep tray to accommodate the built-in installation. Because it is a zero-clearance unit, no additional spacing from combustible materials is required.

  • The ZECL-31-3228-STL operates at approximately 4,800–5,000 BTUs and is capable of heating 400–500 square feet of space, controllable via thermostat. Importantly, the flame effect can be used completely independently of the heater, making it a great year-round ambiance feature even during warmer months. The heater and fan are simply switched off while the flame display remains active.

  • The fireplace features Amantii's exclusive FIRE & ICE® flame presentation using three LED light strips, allowing you to choose from yellow, orange, blue, violet, and rose-colored flames. Flame color, brightness, and heat intensity are all adjustable via the included remote control. The unit is also hard-wire ready, so a wall-mounted thermostat remote can be wired in for permanent installation.

  • Amantii provides a 2-year limited warranty covering manufacturing and material defects from the date of first purchase for products manufactured after January 1, 2016. The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners. To make a warranty claim, proof of purchase along with the model and serial number must be provided to Amantii Technical Service.
