It is a true built-in unit designed to be recessed into the wall — it cannot be wall-mounted or placed on the floor. The framing depth needed is approximately 7.25 inches to accommodate the unit properly.

  • The BI-88-SLIM-OD features a 1500W/750W high/low heater that produces up to 4,800–5,000 BTUs, sufficient to heat approximately 400–500 square feet of indoor space. The heater and fan are located at the top of the unit, and the glass is uniquely angled backward to allow heat to cascade down over the front of the fireplace for efficient distribution. Note that when used outdoors, the heat escapement ratio is too high for the unit to provide any noticeable heating capacity.

  • Yes — while the BI-88-SLIM-OD is rated for both indoor and outdoor use, a separate outdoor cover (PANCOVER stainless steel fireplace cover) must be purchased additionally to protect the unit when installed outside. Buyers must also follow Amantii's specific outdoor installation guide, which includes overhang requirements to prevent water from directly entering the unit. Failure to use the cover or follow the outdoor guide may affect the warranty.

  • The BI-88-SLIM-OD includes a multi-function remote control to adjust flame brightness, colors, and heater settings, as well as a WiFi app for complete control from any room. Through the app, you can schedule the fireplace to turn on before arriving home or set it to activate automatically based on temperature conditions. It also features an Auto heater setting that automatically regulates heat output based on preset factory temperature settings.

  • Amantii warrants the BI-88-SLIM-OD to be free from manufacturing and material defects for a period of two (2) years from the date of first purchase. The warranty is valid for both indoor and outdoor installations, provided the outdoor installation guide is followed and the required outdoor cover is used.
